- Can I use Studio on client sites I manage?
Yes. You can activate your Studio license on any WordPress site — including client sites you manage. You control all activations from your account dashboard and can move the license to a different site whenever a client project ends.
- Can I deactivate one site and activate another?
Yes. Studio gives you 5 active site slots. You can deactivate any site from your account dashboard and activate a different one in its place — as many times as you need. Great for freelancers finishing one client project and starting another.
- Does each site need its own API key?
Yes. Each WordPress site connects to your chosen AI provider using its own API key. This keeps billing and usage separate per site. You pay the AI provider directly at their standard rate — no markups from us.
- What happens if I need more than 5 sites?
You can upgrade to the Agency plan at any time from your account. Your license key, settings, and all existing alt text data carry over — no reinstallation needed. If you temporarily need one extra slot, you can also deactivate an inactive site and move that slot to the new one.
- What is the difference between Studio and Starter?
The only difference is the number of sites. Starter covers 1 site at $14.99/year. Studio covers up to 5 sites at $29.99/year — that’s $5.99 per site, saving you $44.96 compared to buying 5 Starter licenses. Every Pro feature is identical across both plans.
- Can I use these sites on a Multisite network?

This is a very useful tool and one I’m glad I came across. It solves our dilemma of how to improve all of our Image Alt Tags. We are using the Pro version with the ability to pre-append and post-append a phrase while also pulling in the image title. That’s a valuable SEO addition and we needed to be able to process that on 1000’s of images so this tool really helped. Support has been super responsive and helpful as well. I’m super pleased.
